Yes. An event is a master booking with any number of functions, each with its own venue, date, timing, menu, pax and charges. The room block attaches to the same event, and everything settles on one consolidated folio.

Does it stop the sales team double-booking a lawn?
Yes. Venues carry tentative, confirmed and blocked states on one calendar shared across the sales team and the front desk. A tentative hold has an expiry, and a confirmed booking cannot be overwritten without a manager releasing it.

How are premium dates like muhurat weekends handled?
Premium dates are marked on the banquet calendar and carry their own venue and package rates. When a salesperson quotes a starred date the premium pricing applies automatically, so peak days are never quoted at off-season rates.

How is GST applied on a banquet bill?
